This was Kaylee’s first year hunting and she did great. She went out both mornings and evenings putting her time in. She had opportunities to shoot a few does and chose to pass them and wait for a buck. Her patience was rewarded with her first deer and a nice buck at that. He came in around 7:15 on the final evening of the hunt. After a 5 minute stare down at 40 yard the buck relaxed and provided a good broadside shot. Kaylee made a great heart shot and the buck traveled a short distance and went down. It was a great evening many great memories were made.
