I saw movement in coming from the woods in front of me and I saw him at about 80 yds. away. My dad pointed out he had velvet. I looked through my scope and saw he was an 8 pt. Once he got in the shooting lane, I didn’t hesitate. I shot him for a double lunge shot. When I shot him, he jumped up 4 feet in the air and ran 100 yards.
