Cold frost morning, and this buck was shot at on the neighbors property twice, but apparently they missed their target as he ran through the woods and stopped broadside at 35 yards approximately 15 mins later. The 450 Bushmaster hit the target and he ran 30 yards before he piled up.
During an inspection of the buck I found a bloody dried up wound on his front right knee in which I found a three blade broadhead embedded. He was running fine, but viewing his swollen knee with a full three blade broadhead buried deep within the knee, he was a “tough” deer.
