The last hunt of the weekend, the sun was setting and we had maybe another half hour of light left. My father and law had scared up a group of does that were running around me. Once they cleared out I figured it was probably time to pack up and head in. I did one final check of the field on front of my blind, glad I did because that’s when I saw this 8 sauntering up. Brought him up in the scope, took him a minute to come broadside to me but when he did took my shot and dropped him where he stood, another success for the 450 bushmaster.
