We decided to hunt Saturday got out in the blind about 7:45 AM. This guy walks up and start eating on the food plot. Kennedi had a great shot, but Dad really messed up. And didn’t seat the bullet in her rifle she tried to shoot three times the last click and the buck trotted off and boy I felt like such a failure on my part but she kept her spirits and said dad well get another chance we loaded up went back to the house We went to our hay field property Saturday night to only see a bunch of does and smaller deer so she passed on them we decided to go back to our spot behind the cabin in evart to give it another shot I loaded her rifle pulling the charge handle and letting it fly this time bullet was seated and was actually ready this time about 7:30 5 deer came walking in all small ones so we’d decided to wait a while we were getting ready to head up and this guy walks out about a 75 yard shot with iron sights she had a perfect shot placement blew the top of the heart to pieces and he went down about 11 yards from where she shot so glad she got the opportunity the second time her patience payed off And so glad I didn’t have to hear about how it was dads fault she didn’t get the 10 point for a whole year lol
