I have been watching this buck for over a month as he has been coming to many of my mock scrape setups, but always at night. In fact, although I have dozens of game cam videos of this buck, none of them are in daylight. On the morning of the 22nd, just before 8 am, this buck came out of the cedars at 70 yds facing me. I told my daughter, Adelaide, who was sitting with me in a double treestand not to move. The buck stared in our directions for 4-5 minutes. Finally he continued his approach. Eventually, he turned broadside at 45 yds and I yelled “hey” to get him to stop walking. I watched the lighted nock of my arrow bury behind his left shoulder. We watched him go down. It is my biggest buck in almost 30 years of hunting. I am 100% in favor of Antler Point Restrictions. They have drastically changed the kind of buck we get to see and hunt. The best part of the hunt was having my daughter and hunting buddy right next me for this awesome experience.
