Monday evening it was 6:55pm and I was just about ready to get down from tree stand to watch the Lions game and saw this buck for the first time creating a scrape about 30 yards from me. I could see that he was a nice 8 and there was still just enough daylight to make a quality shot. He moved a little closer and paused and presented me a great double lung opportunity. Ran 40 yards and dropped. I tagged and dressed him and got to still watch most of the Lions game. I call the deer Monday Night 8.
