Set up a camera in an overlooked very thick spot on a large piece of private looking for some new intel. I got a couple night time pictures of him. Then received a picture of him in shooting hours, waited until I had the wind in my favor then snuck in at 1pm and did a big loop to be sure he wouldn’t wind me from where I assumed he was bedding. He showed up with 15 min of shooting light left, worked a scrape and crossed my lane at 20yards. Shot him on the walk and he didn’t make it 40 yards and piled up. When I checked my trail cam I realized I had a picture of him crossing the lane 2 seconds before the shot with me in the tree at full draw. Most memorable hunt of my life!
