Seen him coming up the hill, pulled the trigger when he was at 50yds….CLICK….no shot discharged. I was using a bolt action .450 Bushmaster so I slowly pulled the bolt back and chambered another round. He stood behind a thicket for a good minute after I chambered another round, and at that point I couldn’t see him. He turned his head slightly and I could see his antlers, right after that he continued walking, I picked the best opening I had and pulled the trigger. He dropped initially then got up and ran about 15 yards and dropped again.
