Knew he was in the area but never had him daylight before. The last 20 minutes of daylight he came in and made a scrape and was able to make a 45 yd shot that hit low. Tracked him that night and let him lay. Next day a buddy and I got back on the trail and were able to get another shot on him. He was a fighter, having multiple scars and cuts and living almost 24 hours on one lung from the first shot. Couldn’t be more grateful.
