Sat down for the morning hunt, flipped on the electric heater. Knew it was going to be slow, but i had a thermos full of coffee, a breakfast burrito to put on the heater and a half rack of menthol golds so I settled in. Figuring my instincts were going to be right and the deer would move after the rain, I just settled in and enjoy my breakfast, coffee and smokes. Around 10am I figured it was about time to get heading back to camp, while I was putting on the left boot I looked north and seen him coming. Not worried about the right boot, I just focused on the task at hand. Getting this beaut in the back of the dodge. When it was all said and done I had no coffee, no food, 1 boot to put on and one last smoke left to celebrate with as i loaded him in the dodge. What a great morning in the huron county woods.
