Walked deep into the state woods looking for fresh sign after the heavy rains and found a really fresh scrape so set up in a tree 28yards from it. Had a a small buck come in about 530 down wind of the scrape and get nervous and just walk the other way. About an hour later this buck walks directly to the scrape from the up wind side as soon as he stopped in it I let the G5 Maga meat eat! He went about 75 yards and piled up! First buck out of the saddle and my biggest public land buck!
