I’ve been hunting public land hard for the past 3 years and this year I got lucky enough to find a good rub and scrape line so as any person would I hunted that spot pretty hard, I was actually getting extremely discouraged about hunting public land in Michigan because it almost seems like I never see any deer then I looked up and watched a little buck come across the swamp and he kept looking back behind him so i grabbed my bow and about 5 minutes later i watched my buck walk out of the thicket on the other side of the swamp I grunted at him twice and he came in on a misson, he is also the first archery buck I have ever taken and my biggest buck to date. I never got him officially scored but my taxidermist rough scored him at 131
