Have him on trail cam on 8/29. I had kinda lost hope after not seeing him during regular firearm. Contemplated sleeping in, but sure glad I didn’t! First saw him around 7:50am. I couldn’t believe he had survived regular firearm season. Watched him graze with 4 doe through some thicket for about 10 minutes, then finally he gave me a slim shot as he quartered away. He rolled, went about 30-40 yards and piled up. First harvest with my new 400 Legend. Huge improvement from the 870 I have used for the last 25 years!
