When out hunting for the first time on my the property I just bought in May. I have seen lots of potential so I was excited to get out there. I was starting to get a little disappointed as it was getting close to 9 and I hadn’t seen a deer yet. Then just a little after 9am 2 does and 4 fawns walked through a path 25 yards from me so I was happy to at least see some deer. Not even 5 minutes later 3 shooter bucks walk through that same path the opposite way and I barely had time to get excited. I knew they were going to come through an opening on the other side. I grunted to get there attention and got a great shot at the biggest one. He went about 120 yards. Later that evening about 6pm I shot my second buck and tagged out! This was one of my best days hunting!
