We found this deer on camera and was curious as to what had happened to him/her. I woke up late and snuck out to the stand to find what I thought was a doe on the pile. Visiting from California, we were just looking to fill our freezer so I didn’t hesitate to shoot. Turns out it was a button buck who appears to have fractured his nose as some point early on which led to his facial deformity. Has anyone else seen anything like this?
