After early November temps in the mid 70s, a cold front got the deer up and moving. The buck presented itself for a 15 yard shot. While looking for blood shortly after, I had a second 8pt approach and come within 7 yards. Standing on the forest floor weaponless, he was free to continue his journey. What a night! Heaviest body deer taken on the property. Should dress very close to 200lbs.
