Nearly fell asleep due to swingshift sleep schedule in the stand so almost got down. 5 minutes later he showed up. Had pic on trailcam and recognized him right away. Not great shot placement, little buck fever I suppose. First ever buck with a bow. Biggest buck personally. My first buck taken in roughly 7 years. Pleased we found the animal and I didn’t waste him. Learning experience, little defeated feeling due to my poor shot but happy overall. Nice to hear positive and encouraging feedback from friends and family.
