Set up on a land bridge of an old logging road that had lots of bowls around it but the “old” road I identified on spartan forge was a high spot that could be used to. Abigale the area without needing to walk up and down the bowls, figured deer would like to use that, and it had a thick stem count, I set up where my wind and thermals sucked behind me and down hill, opposite of where I thought movement was coming from. It get to the last hour of light and I did a call sequence with a bleet and a grunt, and not even 4 minutes go by and here he comes down the good ol land bridge to a main intersection of ridge bowl tops, and cover, and gave me an opportunity at 25 yards. Best mi buck yet!
