decided to hit the hardwoods mid day, hoping to call one in but didn’t have the highest hopes, I was sat and set up by 1:15 pm and I called once and instantly heard a distant gobble sounded like 300 yards or so, kept giving loud calls and I could tell he was getting closer at 1:55 he gave his last gobble. This is my first year turkey hunting and I’m for sure hooked now. Thanks to the big man upstairs I was able to cash in on this beauty
