I had an encounter with this deer the week before and the does he was with got a whiff of me at the wrong time. The night of the 7th I heard 3 estrus bleats right in a row about 4:15pm, and 20 mins later he came out of the bedding and I was lucky enough to be in the right spot. Biggest buck to date. Ended up scoring 149 4/8.
