First ever bear hunt! I had a few bears of similar size come in all day at my stand on public land. After hearing someone running dogs nearby in the evening, I decided that I would shoot the next bear I saw, knowing that a friend had dogs run near his bait and they never returned during daytime. After spooking off a different bear with the camera we were filming the hunt with, I was shocked when I noticed this guy when he snuck in behind me only 10 minutes later. I let my arrow fly and found him piled up 100 yards away.
