The smile says it all, but my 8 year old daughter got her first deer ever. She has been going out with me since 3 years old and she missed a couple during bow season she got too excited! So that morning we went to the stand early and then daylight came and we didn’t see anything for a little while. Then we heard my dad shoot so I called him and he said he shot a doe and this buck was running right to us. So I got her up and ready and within a few minutes here he came. Well he stopped at 57 yards facing us and didn’t move for about 10 minutes. So I got her ready and told her to take her time and put it right in his chest like we practiced and she drilled him got his lungs he ran about 100 yards and went down but we couldn’t see him go down. She was absolutely pumped and I’m one proud dad!!!!
