Roosted what sounded like a loan gobbler in a tree. The next morning we slipped into the pines and set up on a trail. We quickly found out that the Tom wasn’t alone as 12 other birds flew down including 4 other jakes. They immediately strutted as they hit the ground and the long beard split apart from the flock and headed into the decoys. He strutted the whole way in and @renzominaudo got a 40 yard shot. The rest is history!
