First night in a new stand location, sign was everywhere. After seeing first buck of the season a 1.5 year old 6 point came by skirting the edge of a swamp then a doe and fawn came by from the ridges above me. I heard them trot off a bit and looked behind me to see this buck broadside looking away from me at 30 yards. I drew my bow settled the pin and watched the arrow fly perfect. He went 65 yards into the swamp. I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to get a shot at my oldest buck to date!
