On the morning of october 2nd I had 2 bucks come into a community scrape I was hunting over, one being an 8 point. I shot him at 7:34am and was tickled pink I shot my first whitetail in about 11 years! Now its the morning of october 6th and it was the first cold cold morning he had all fall. About 7:45 I looked over by the scrape and saw a deer through the leaves standing in the scrape working the branch. Quickly realized it was another buck I had on camera and he became the main target. Another smaller buck was right behind him.. as he got closer to my open shot I think he got wind of me and turned and was about to be gone so at 12 yards I let it fly and i Hit him a little far back but the broadhead did its job we let him lay all day until about 4pm and started tracking. The rest is history and im in shock im already tagged out on 2 awesome michigan public land bucks!!! Was thrilled I got to share every moment of this with my dad. Its a day, week, and season ill never forget!!!
