Scouted the day before the opener to find out two guys were going to be hunting the spot I wanted to hunt. Talked to the guys and they were great people so I respected they’re spot and started scouting again. After walking a lot of miles I finally found a good looking area with rubs all over the place and decided i would hunt there for the opener. Plan B ended up working out and it’s not my biggest buck but I’m sure proud of him.
