Got out to the blind at around 3pm. It was a perfect day for deer to be moving, but they weren’t moving like I expected. It was 5pm and I still hadn’t seen a single deer, I was getting bummed because daylight was disappearing. Around 5:30pm I saw horns coming up from behind the hill, but then they disappeared. A couple minutes later he came back up over the hill and stood perfectly still for me to get a good shot around 200 yards out.
