Marnie 13 yrs old, first year hunting and first deer harvest. She missed a buck during youth hunt but made up for it tonight. Got to blind at 3:15 and at 4:01 a doe came out looking behind her, I told Marnie to put her phone down and grab gun. With that doe looking behind her I told Marn a buck was coming. I had to snort to stop him twice as he was hot on that doe. The 2nd time he stopped she put the hammer down and nailed him. Went 30 yrds into swamp with a great blood trail right to him. We thought it was a 4 pt as it happened so fast but nope, it’s a huge 8 pt. She has out done me and some of our hunting buddies with this one. I’m so excited and proud.
