I had seen this buck for the first time on 10/30/23.which was my first hunt of the season. Now the trick was to take this deer before rifle season, but not to over hunt him, pushing him out of the area. I was blessed with the quartering way, 25 yard shot opportunity on 11/13. With the help of my Dad, Neighbors and a good tracking dog (owned by Taylor Artis), was able to recover him. I give top credit to Jesus Christ for allowing all the pieces to come together, along with great neighbors who allowed this deer to grow to maturity.
