This is my first deer ever. Me and my uncle got out a few minutes before shooting light at around 7. We sat for 45 mins and saw nothing. Then finally we saw a deer, I thought it was a nice doe because I couldn’t see the antlers till my uncle saw them. We set up and it was around 80-100 yards. I took the first shot and whiffed. It stuck around, took another shot and shot its hoof off. Third shot it was quartered at 60 yards, ran for some time and he went down.
