After the morning sit I decided to dive into the bedding area and do some stalking. Moving ever so slightly, stopping after every couple steps. I was working a fresh rub line. As I was admiring the last rub, and imagining the size of the rack to be hitting both limbs.. I looked up and 25 yards in front of me in the thicket was a doe. I was undetected. Then another doe…the 2nd doe kept looking back and looking back… as I looked a little deeper I could see the size of the 3rd deer and sure enough it was him. As the 2 does passed through, he was staying held up in the thicket. After finding the smallest window of opportunity, I was able to make the perfect lung shot. BUCK DOWN!
