This is the first year hunting without my gramps being here who passed earlier in the year, and not being able to share my success with him in person was tough as he was always my first call. I went out and bought the same gun he had and after a grind of a season so far I was able to harvest my first buck with a gun. Very grateful and I know he was watching, smiling and saying his usual ‘atta boy’.
