Watched a doe come down the ridge to 30 yards. She laid down looking exhausted. I looked up the ridge and saw a big body deer walking down to the doe. I grab my grunt call and give it a grunt. The deer answered back with a snort wheeze I grunted two more times, the deer is now getting to the doe and he put his antlers under her butt and stood her up. Just as soon as she stands she starts running back up the ridge he chased her and turned her around back down the ridge to the same spot. Ended up doing this 2 more times. He finally gave me a 45 yard shot. Hunt of a lifetime! I could not believe what I had shot.
