Spotted him on the other end of the field about 500 yards away at day break. Watched him with a doe for about 30 minutes then a truck stopped on the road, I’m guessing looking at him in the field. The truck had his attention for a minute and then he started trotting my way. As he was trotting, a doe popped out of the ditch and he started chasing her right in front of my blind. The rest is history.
