First buck! Was only going to hunt until around 9:30AM before heading back down-state. Caught a chill from the cold wind in my tree stand at around 8:00AM and had to get down. Was not feeling confident about seeing deer since I had only spotted one doe over the previous days hunting. Walked 400-500 yards behind where my stand was located and found a spot to sit. Not 10 minutes later, I heard this 7-pointer grunting behind my in an area full of young white pines. I spotted his antler and knew it was a buck. Sure enough, 4-5 minutes later he came out into the clearing and I was able to take a nice shot!
