The buck came in from behind me about 20 minutes before the end of shooting light. It was walking nose to the ground and it turned at about 20 yards from my stand to quarter away from me. It was still moving in a direction away from me so I grunted with my mouth to stop him and made the shot. The shot was behind the shoulder, but a little to far forward for a quartering away shot so the arrow missed most of the vitals and went into the neck. Half of the arrow was broke off and the other half was still in the buck when he was found, about 150 yards from where he was shot.
