I saw this guy during bow season 15 yards away from me but couldn’t get a shot on him. (It was still dark out and all I could see were his antlers in the moonlight) I noticed him Thursday night and started stalking him but ended up losing him in the woods. That next Friday morning got out late into my stand but it was still dark out. About 7:40 I had a doe run behind me and that’s what got my attention as I was on my phone. I looked over to my right and there were 4 big does. I was about ready shoot the biggest doe when they kept looking back. I took the scope off the doe and started looking around where the does were. There he was up in some thick brush and all I could see were his antlers. He got up and came down to where the does were, he scared the does off but he still stayed there long enough for me to shoot. At 7:53 I was able to get him! Roughly an 80 yard broadside shot destroyed both of his front shoulders, he ran about 10 yards pile driving into a pile of brush and then starting running in front of me and I put another shot on him about 40 yards hitting both of his lungs. I dropped him in his tracks the second shot.
