After having spent the last two weeks practicing for the youth hunt, Matthew was ready. Equipped with moms .224 Valkyrie, we went to the blind at 615am. Daylight came and so did the deer, however with only yearling bucks and does in the food plot, Matthew opted to wait until the evening hunt to see what might happen. With only a few minutes of legal shooting light left, a group of shooter bucks made their way into the plot. Matthew was able to set up on the largest buck in the group, confidently letting one fly, taking out the front shoulder, heart and a lung on its way through! Congrats bubba! We are very proud of you!
