Started off as a quiet morning—saw around 30 deer and even a pheasant. Around 9:30, four toms came in from behind us, but stayed just out of range.
By 10:30, we were packing up to head out when my dad spotted a tom strutting across the field. No time to wait—we dropped down and army crawled 150 yards to cut him off. Took the shot from a prone position at 35yrds… bird down!
First turkey in 3 years. I am truly blessed!
