My buddy and I headed down to the woods just before 3. We sat in two different stands on each side of the woods and I had moment pretty quick but not a buck in sight for the first two hours of the sit. With only 30 minutes left, I was getting ready to take a shot at a big doe on the Field. Out of nowhere I heard a really loud grunt from behind me. I turned around with my gun and he was coming into the woods chasing a doe. He stop on the wood line and I had a clear shot. I smoked him at 40 yards, He went about 10yards and dropped. About 20secs later I took a shot at the doe and she booked it! So my buddy ended up taking a follow up shot before she hit the property line and she dropped.
