While not huge in comparison to the other trophy’s on this page .. he is my first and massive to me. I want to give my husband a huge shout out first for introducing me to hunting, second for all his patience in teaching me to be successful and thirdly for all his determination to help me find this, my first official buck! You see.. I didn’t make the best shot but from his tree he watched it for a couple hours, after he thought it was safe we both got down and started tracking. We looked for a couple hours in the dark with no luck. He decided it was best to go home and come back in the morning. Once at home he started looking at the weather ( of course rain was coming in and would continue the whole following day) so back in the truck we were at midnight attempting to find blood trail before the rain started. Unfortunately we still couldn’t find him. The following morning we headed back out, and found him about 30 yards from where he was last seen completely laying on my arrow which was still lit. We must have passed him a dozen times in the dark. I am hooked for life what a great experience.
