I have been hunting for many years with my brother but him and I have never sat together. Today see did! Beautiful, calm, orange morning with the sunrise. 7:15 and a doe comes out. Right behind her to follow was a buck. I should have let us both but I got excited. Got him in my scope between two trees and dropped him at 131 yards. He got up, spun and fell again. 20 seconds felt like 5 minutes. I got to get a buck sitting with my brother for the first time might be the most rewarding part. Today was a good day!
