I had just sat down in my pop up blind for about 20 minutes or so. As I leaned back in my chair I saw two bucks prancing out of the woods about 100 yrds away. As they got closer, I could tell the one was a large 8 pt. I took aim with the ole 12ga and fired my 1st shot at about 50 yrds. The 2nd buck split off at a full sprint 90 degrees from the 1st. I tracked him about 10 yrds and fired my 2nd shot at the 7 pt. He toppled over. 2 bucks in 5 seconds is my new record. I felt like a kid all over again. Luckily I had a little light left to dress them out. The 8 pt dressed out at 160 lbs and the 7 pt was about 115 lbs.
