I went out about 1 pm and sat up downwind of a thicket. Around 5 pm 4 does came out and at 5:20 pm this 8 point stepped out. The .450 dropped him in his tracks at 75 yards. The does trotted off but stayed in range (120 yrds.) I made the decision to harvest the largest doe of the group as well.
