I went out hunting with my boyfriend. After passing a few smaller bucks on opening day, we spotted this guy at 250 yards on the 2nd day of rifle season. I wanted to take a shot at him but being my first deer, I wanted a closer shot. We seen that he was chasing does and the doe he was chasing was heading towards us. He followed her in, and I shot him at 130 yards. He ran a total of 40 yards. It was so exciting and I couldn’t have been more thrilled that this was my first deer I have ever shot.
