Every opening morning my dad takes my sister and I out to our opening morning day shack. For years my dad would take both of us out to sit in whatever weather opening day presented with blankets and pillows to relax in some thickets as we would wait for the opportunity at a nice buck. Finally a few years ago he decided to invest in some hunting shacks for us to get out of the weather so we could stay out most of the day. It paid off this year as my biggest buck to date came out hot on a doe about 100 yards out. Very grateful that all my hard work and practice came together.
