It was my first time ever hunting out of a tree saddle and this buck that I had not seen in several months on camera showed up an hour before dark. I was sitting in a tree on a corn field and could tell that he felt very safe there. He went from 80 to 18 yards in just a few minutes and I put a perfect shot on him. He never knew what hit him. He ran 20 yards and stopped and stood there looking around before tipping over. I passed this buck up a couple times the year before and sure am happy now that I did.
