Shot him Saturday morning, hit guts and 1 lung. We tracked him for 2 miles Saturday evening. Couldn’t find him so we hired a tracking dog on Sunday. We bumped him once with the dog, let him lay back down and came back 6 hours later. Dog lost the trail and it was dark so we gave up till the next day. Went out with my wife on Monday to grid search for a body. After 2 hours of searching we found him 700 yards from where we bumped him. 3 days of searching and over 5 miles of total tracking/walking. Unreal adventure glad we got him tho.
