The Bronchitis Buck. I have been taking steroids, Mucinex, Delsym, DayQuil and NyQuil trying to keep the cough down and feeling generally miserable but it didn’t stop me from putting the smack down.
I muffled my cough the best I could with a hand warmer muff. I had deer all around me some as close as 80 yards and it didn’t draw much attention. Just after I saw this buck I gave him some grunts to get his attention he chased off two spikes and then turned and headed for me grunting all the way. He paused in front of me at about 28 yards and I let him have it. He made it about 70 yards and I watched him go down. Nov. 14th has been good to me. This is the third buck since 2014 I’ve harvested on the morning of Nov. 14th
